So.. After much though I decided to become a veggie.. Mostly because the only meat I really eat is chicken. And partly because I feel so bad for animal suffering.
This was abouttt 6 weeks ago maybe?
So far, I've been doing great, aside from the fact.. I've had about 4 KFCs..
I just can't seem to help it, I wander past..Smell the original recipe skin.. and wander right on in.
But, once again, I've been thinking (dangerous I know
) And I have come to the conclusion that, maybe, 2 KFCs a month isn't too bad.. not really? Its a drastic reduction on how much I ate previously.. Its better for me, my pocket, and the chickens right? Well..only marginally.. Sometime in the future I plan on becoming a 'strict' veggie.. However I don't think that day is today. I think once the cravings for bacon have died down.. I will have better will power..
I must say.. That as a [rather bad] vegetarian, my reasons are a little atypical, this got me to thinking, about other peoples reasons for eating meat, being vegetarian and vegan... Aside from the fact that meat 'tastes good' and vegan and vegetarianism prevent animal cruelty and are healthier options.

Before you commit to veggieism, have a look in the supermarkets for the kind of things you'll have to live on. There isn't much except quiche, Linda McCartney stuff and quorn, and they don't stock a great deal of that. Good luck whichever you choose.
